Stubborn WallA Poem by Poetic Beautywritten for creative poetry group using a quote that is post in the authors notes below
The wall is harsh
Unmoving Unforgiving As each thump echoes Across the room Tiny droplets of blood Trickle Drip Down the forehead with scarlet direction Refusing to budge Thump Thump is the only sound Heard from this being Concrete is stubborn Strong Still With no emotions to get in its way No amount of force Will move Will crumble the structure that stands With crafted pride Stubbornness holds tight Gripping Squeezing Until flesh is damaged With gritty pieces embedded Is being right worth the headache Pounding Aching Inside the head Forcefully growing Let go and move freely Loving Understanding The difference in opinion Destroying self implosion
