Aggressive Boots

Dominant actions with the clicking of heels

Enraged black leather boots that lace up the back

Aggressive intentions storm through the quiet halls

Put down that damn ringing phone and hold all your calls

 

Alabaster beauty is brewing with fire

Temper is ignited by a silent divide

A whirlwind of lava is erupting today

Provocative anger surges, in a grand display

 

Destructive flames glide along the finger tips

Destroying once beautiful vivid hopes

Why is love such a ravishing brutal liar?

White envelope sealed with a ruby kiss

Squeezed hand crumpling the delicate paper

 

Silence fills the busy office when she walks in

Throwing the letter in his face before words begin

With sultry eyes flaring with electric energy

Crimson sparks of rage and need, encompass the air

 

With provocative vigor, heels click and storm out

Skirt swaying with the wiggle in her vibrant steps

Shoulders back with pride, her head held high

This passion, are you really going to deny?

I enjoyed this poem. I had to read a few times. The strong language and the statements made this poem have purpose and reason.

Oh this was a treasure! I so loved the descriptions on this one. It held that 'Don't mess with me' attitude and I can hear that song in my head from Nancy Sinatra too while reading it.. 'These boots were made for walking' Tis good!!! Lovin it!!!
