Bewitching Beauty

Bewitching Beauty

A Poem by Poetic Beauty
"

wrote for creative poetry

"

The bewitching green eyes sparkle

With enthralling hypnotic tones

That sees through your skin and bones

Her laughter sings of forgotten love

Resounding to clouds above

A simple beauty to behold

But is a hellion in disguise

Her sultry poison your demise

As silver moonbeams play at night

She’ll push you away picking a fight

As perplexing confusion sets in

The passion in her will subside

Taking you on a rollercoaster ride

Thoughts sliding on a slippery path

Leaving feelings of anger and wrath

As delusion settles in the heart

Her inventive mind finds reasons why

Not to give love a second try

An epic tale of a broken heart

But that’s another chapter to start.

Your poem rocked my world and rings a memory bell. I find so much about it delightful, "Her sultry poison your demise" and the magic lines, "That sees through your skin and bones
Her laughter sings of forgotten love
Resounding to clouds above"
Brilliantly Beautiful Ride

Amazing! An apt description of an enigmatic, myterious beauty unfolding the different layers of her personality step by step. I love the rhymes too. :)

Holy hell...I have been to this crazy destination a couple of times in my life. The way you painted it was spot on and the description was fabby for sure. Wow...that was so clear, no better explanation of the down hill slide.

The ending says it all! What a woman, an enemy in a dress .. you can do without the guiles and cruelness, no more broken hearts .. move on, run for the hills!

You painted a perfect picture of how some suffer from not being able to fully release the past, let go and move forward. The tighter we hold onto the past the more we push the present and future away along with any future chances of happiness. So many suffer this way when they have it in them to chose a different way. Beautiful writing PB

this is exquisitely written, tells as story really well, leaves you wanting more and then leaves you with the tease that there may be more to come!

Ha! I think you captured my best friend's ex wife in this second stanza:

“A simple beauty to behold
But is a hellion in disguise
Her sultry poison your demise
As silver moonbeams play at night
She’ll push you away picking a fight”

Sometimes looks really do kill…Great flow and dark feel, that’s why cute is hotter than sexy…Cute could pull sexy off anytime, but they are so more down to earth about it...

Great Write!

Tommy
