The Cursed TurkeyA Poem by Poetic Beautysimply funnyThe antique grandfather clock struck five People gathered around the table Signaling dinner soon would arrive
Delicious smells wafted in the room What a grand occasion this would be Everyone feasting together soon
But the golden turkey was cursed Plagued to hit the slippery floor The Great Dane got to dine first
Its massive jaws were a direct hit Gnawing and chewing on our grub Children cried launching loud fits
This chapter now comes to an end As the adults migrate to the door For eating here will not begin © 2011 Poetic BeautyFeatured Review
