Peaceful SnowA Poem by Poetic BeautyNot my favorite time of year
Heavy gray clouds loom over the earth
Releasing fluttering specks of white Sparkling like glitter before my sight The ground soon blanketed with new snow Painting a picture with a somber tone Making life seem chilly and alone Sad quietness fills the fridged air Desolate darkness encloses the street The silence of nature's death is complete World of vivid colors faded away Giving birth to a season of gray, white and brown Encompassing the little quiet town No passing of cars on the snowy road A stillness surrounds the dreary night But a peaceful calm creates delight. © 2010 Poetic BeautyFeatured Review
