Christmas HighA Poem by Poetic BeautyJust a side note I hate the snow but love the Christmas season
The air is frozen with a chilly bite
Causing rosy cheeks and red noses To appear before my fading sight Will the snow fall before the day closes Snow such a beautiful but tragic thing It creates crashes and messes up the streets But a feeling of Christmas it does bring Making people smile at others they meet A cheerfulness within iced hearts As anger slowly melts into the past A soft glow increasingly spreads and starts All season long the warmth seems to last Smiles given freely to strangers Whom eagerly nod passing on by Joyfulness spreads, people slow to anger Giving the world an addictive Christmas high © 2010 Poetic BeautyFeatured Review
