Magical Stars

Magical Stars

A Poem by Poetic Beauty

I sat staring at the brilliant orbs scattered across the sky.
Are you looking up gazing at their twinkling white light too?
My thoughts drifting to that magical night, making me sigh.

The sun's setting light is but a tiny glimmer in the west;
Bright pinks with hinting oranges dissipate in the distance,
Mind churning the precious thoughts as longing does crest.

Gazing at the stars as comfort surrounded us with love;
Talking till twilight filled the sky with hinting morning light;
Holding each other tenderly looking at the orbs above.

Do you remember this special night under the midnight sky?
Where tenderness filled the air around us pulling us together;
When laughter floated on the breeze giving us a natural high.

You are a mood setter.. you weave a great image into your feelings, capturing the essence of what your feeling while offering us a glimpse, not to much, just enough for us to wander along side of you.. with out own feelings and interpretations...
Beautiful as always..

sounds like what I used to do when I was a child- lay on the cool grass and stare up into the nights sky. And even better when you were with someone else to share that special time with. This poem brings back lots of fond memories and makes me smile.

Lovely poem Kristina

I love to star gaze. I took an astronomy class in college, one of the most amazing classes I took, because it does invoke this sense of wonder and comfort your write here points so vividly.

Also the sense of natural wonder invokes our memory, especially when we share it with others.

Great work.

Yes, love and looking at the stars. No better place to be. A beautiful description of remembering a good moment in a life and hoping for more. A outstanding poem of love and a time of happiness.

This is so wonderful, sweet, and very romantic! You may want to think about editing it a bit though........make the font a little larger for those of us who dont see as well anymore! lol

Your poem is quite good actually. Loved the atmosphere you created. The act of gazing at the stars reminds the subject of the infinite possibilities that lie in life. And at the same time, it tells the reader that we are quite nothing compared to the immense space there is. Really good.

The great thing is that we do see alot of the same things and share things even when we aren't together with our loved one. Great memories and great poem I loved it.
