Angels' Musical Wings

Sitting outside on the swing and was inspired to write this.

Angels gracefully flap their feathered wings
Spreading them wide in the star filled night sky
Sounding like chimes floating on the wind, they sing

Gliding naturally on an enchanted night breeze
Searching for lost and abandoned mournful souls 
Hoping to inspire and grant peace, that will please

Moving through the blackish purple calm night sky
Destinations unknown till they hear, begging prayers
Eagerly they search and begin to gracefully fly

Invisible to humans limited simple sight
But flapping wings can be unknowingly heard
As rustling leaves in the trees when they take flight

Your stanzas are laden with beautiful imagery of the night. Angels bring us light when the darkness is too heavy. I have never seen an Angel other than the one on my Christmas tree, but there are people on earth who have certainly have an angel’s touch. An uplifting read.

this has beautiful imagery here. I could almost hear the angel wings flapping in the breeze as I read your poem. and yes i do believe in Angels I think they are all around us,protecting us everyday from immenent disasters. this poem gave us food for thought and also i have know some human angels that have helped me in time of need. they are great too!!
