Bleeding Heart

A Collaborative poem done with Sean M. Adams. the horror go to guy.

Pulsing rapidly deep within the protective chest

Fiery burning, the pain consumes and does crest

Needing reprieve from the piercing sorrowful loss

Convulsing from the stabbing need, life becomes cross

Bloody teardrops drip with growing arresting pain

Achingly beating to the rhythm of the mournful rain

Dripping splattering bloody drops of crimson tears

Bleeding profusely over achingly bitter years.

 

  Puddles of red sorrow spread throughout my dried up soul of land

Feeling like a wounded puppet putting a needle through each hand

Blood begins to boil my burning body feels like a flame

Scarred covered skin a reminder of my darkened years of shame

 

Inside is like a fiery prison I’m clawing through the sin

Peeling off each demon layer of my blood soaked skin

Screaming out to God as I rip myself apart

Breaking through the throbbing chest I free my bleeding heart!

wow i am just speechless at the images this poems conjours up in my mind. I had written a poem quite some time ago called bleeding hearts and still cant seem to perfect what I wanted to portray. but here you did it you described the feelings to the tee. great write a little dark but thats not a bad thing it adds to the profound feel of the poem fantastic job!!!!

A bloody mess for sure...lol. Super vivid images crosses from love and longing into a loony bin horror show....someone going over the edge and sister, just when you think someone will catch them before the big fall...think again. Very cool.

i think we did a great job ..to me this kind of a psychogical horror piece very deep and I think you did a great job with your half imagery was great and you get a real emotional feel for the character... we will defintley have to work together again...
