Silvery Web of Deceit

Tiny onyx spiders spin their webs,
Deceit filled little strings that shine;
Encasing, surrounding all that is mine.

Silvery intricate patterns are spun;
Delicately entwining destructive lies,
Catching luring, petite fluttering flies.

Complicated twists unravel the truth;
Tighter, silvery strings are woven together,
Ensnaring honesty, hurt now weathered.

Spinning until destructive plans show;
Emotions crawling with astounding shock,
Intricate webs distort, a trust does lock.

What a great title .. you certainly spun your own tale in this finely created poem ..

That's so near the mark yet you've turned the emotion behind it into quite lovely phrases. I love to look at spiders' webs - can sit looking for ages (and yes, I do have a life!), and each time I see how intricately they turn out i realise just how incredible those little creatures are .. imagine if men could spin webs!

That phrase 'web of lies' becomes something different with your very clever, yet lovely poem.
