Farce Lies

Farce Lies

A Poem by Poetic Beauty

He tries to ensnare her
With farce lies
making her heart stir
Mind battling but the heart tries
The heart is driven
The mind is disheveled
lies were all he'd given
Now he looked like a devil
With great agility in her step
She kicked him hard
Leaving him looking unkept
While she ripped up his card.

Interesting poem. The line "Leaving him looking unkept" (which isn't a word, it should probably be unkempt) felt off from the rhythm of the poem. I did like the imagery in the first half of it. It flowed really nicely.
