Blank PagesA Poem by Poetic Beauty
The pages remain blank
As I push past the pain Hurtfully my heart sank Until only numbness remain Taking over, the poetry died Slipping into the recess of my mind To myself I constantly lied Trying to put it far behind Tired of crying every night A strong wall was put up To help against the fight Until all feelings did erupt The love came crashing in Causing memories and dreams As the pain began again Reminding, that not all is what it seems With nothing left to do To vent these feelings A poem formed, strong and true Meant to help start new healing © 2010 Poetic BeautyFeatured Review
