Mysteries of the Night Sky

Mysteries of the Night Sky

A Poem by Poetic Beauty

The stars sparkle with wonder
As they shine ever so bright
Their light reveals a small glimpse
Of their vast knowledge and insight

A mystery plays on the stars
While the wind whispers secrets
It glides amongst the tree tops
A tune that calms, chaos within

Romance drifts across the brain
Pattern woven into the cells
A tangle of fiery forces
That engage the sleepy mind

A primal need arises
Beneath an indigo sky
Nerves set on rapid fire
As sapphire flames flicker and burn

Inner doubts quickly melt away
The turmoil becomes burnt ash
That scatters upon the wind
Only small fragments left behind

As desire calls from within
A blaze that lights the shadows
As it reaches crimson heights
ThT flutter with scarlet victory

A write as magical as the night sky which is so finely depicted through excellent word choice in this very passionate, warm and tender poem. Amorousness thrives underneath night skies, desire runs wild and free, "inner doubts melt away" in the heat of the night. A very beautiful romantic poetic gem! Thank you for sharing, dear poetess...

The sky is always changing and it’s beautiful
The sky and universe are my favorite part of nature. The only part untouched by humans yet, and knowing I'm looking at the same stars as our ancestors makes me connected more. I don't know how that makes sense but it's comforting. I loved your poem here, it's very beautiful and descriptive of the beauty of our universe. I liked the flow as well, it's very edgar allan poe in his dreamland era. What a gorgeous poem you've made
