Out of Reach

Shock 😮 for everyone

Thoughts violently dance about
Swaying then quickly shifting
A constant pushing and pulling
Overthinking is on display
Complete chaos at its devilish

The sensual spell now twisted
Wrapped in silvery tight thread
Smothering the deep fire within
Chaffing with its constricting hold
As its strings begin to cut in

A long night of self doubt rises
Without an answer in sight
Turbulent thoughts keep waving
Pounding on the distant shore
Scattering words across the sand

Some buried under wet grains
Others on tall tendrils of grass
Yet a few trapped on a dock
Scantly close but still out of reach
Taunting with glowing minimal hope

What a write, filled with so much emotions that is tied to struggling internally,
Its a sad yet very frustrating thing, felt this in a deep level,
I can relate to overthinking so much at times, and not having a solution/answer, makes it harder.

Do you listen to Tool? You should listen to older Tool, Anemia and Lateralus, etc... it's good music. The lyrics are good for poets to listen to. The music is a pretty heavy but, it's real clean. Like, they are all amazing musicians. (the lead singer is the least talented, but he can write and sing very well)

PB, you surely use emotionally packed words and vivid descriptions of the chaos going on in your mind.... sometimes we cannot settle down and separate these thoughts and musings.... we have no answers to our own questions...the answers may be scattered as you allude to in the most beautiful way...but you still show us hope.... "Some buried under wet grains, others on tall tendril's of grass"....

Sounds like a piece about inner struggle with one's mind or heart.
Minimal hope is better than no hope.
And maybe with time one can reach what seems out of reach.
Scattered thoughts or words can be collected.
