Display of Nature

Display of Nature

A Poem by Poetic Beauty
"

Would you look at this…. It’s for everyone

"
The sun shines upon my winter skin
It’s glow glistens in the pale blue sky
Lighting the world with its intense burn
As birds flitter about randomly

Afternoon radiates summer heat
Spring breeze tickles my exposed neck
Cooling down my sweat caressed brow
As the temperature increases

The dirt beneath my fingers is refreshing
It’s slightly damp from previous rain
Small granules slide from my busy hands
As tirelessly dig in the ground

New flower bed causally emerges
As the top layers is removed
Clumps of green grass lay helplessly aside
Thrown together in a heaping pile

A day in the sunshine is pleasure
The natural smell graces my eager nose
Swirling around me in a vivid dance
A display of nature that calms my mind

I'd been saving reviewing on this until I found out what this sun is, or as I call it "heap big yellow fireball in sky!" 😀
The heap big yellow fireball in sky came out to play today, but so did the heap big frosty north sea wind, so I still don't really know, but it certainly prettier up the sky, which I just assumed was a slate grey accompaniment to life, but it did turn the palest of blues for a while, like someone had just taken it to the dry cleaners for a change.
But as you say in your last verse it sure does make the place smell as pretty as it briefly looked....very briefly! 😀

I love all the season except winter. I don’t enjoy snow or the cold. It is dreary and colorless.

Some folks take a walk in the woods, some of us bathe there so even our souls feel clean.

Thank you.
Wish you a good Sunday.
Your poem is beautiful start to finish and in between. You have a gardener's spirit, one to one with every horticultural sense: seems you love every stroke and stretch of it. Time clings to your hands, eyes glow with every sight, nose inhales the scent of soil and blossom; even an aching back shows pride in what's been done! Superb writing about a leisure-pleasure in your garden - one I understand because am a landscapist and a happy-to-be jobbing gardener! Kudos galore, Poetic Beauty.

There is something primely healing about gardening. The feel of dirt and the smell of it as well. A great write of nature in our own back yard. Beautiful

Nature -- The most gentle and modest blessing on earth. This poem reminds me of the Netflix documentary 'life on our planet'. While looking back to the creation, it seems that we are living in a 'faithful story' of universe.
