Soulful storm

My mind ponders thoughts like thunder
Rumbling in many directions
Shaking my internal foundation
With deep subconscious reflection

Soul searching rises collectively
Springing forth out of the raging storm
Rejuvenating a stagnant life
With a spark of mindful lightning

The blustery thoughts bellow loudly
Whipping around the tender body
Trying to cause discord in life
But inner peace quiets the mind

A downpour of penetrating rain
Cleanses the dusty soul completely
Washing away yesterday’s stress
Leaving the aura shining bright

Soul searching springing forth out of the chaos, bringing reflection from that spark captures perfectly, capturing both the storm and the following calm...
