I thought of all my notebooks, handwritten poetry over the years. Some completed poems, others half started and then some, maybe one liners. A collection of my poetical thoughts on a range of different topics. I thought of all the effort and love, yet alone hours spent composing. And you being a poet I can tell from this poem understand that perfectly. Good morning from me and no doubt, late, late for you PB.

I’m glad you enjoyed this poem and that it made you think of your own writing.

Each page each poems is a magical page born of something I’m feeling or craving
Beautiful flow and rhythm... I thought of all my notebooks and pages of scribbled thoughts, which my grown children will day shift through and read, perhaps learning a few secrets about their mother...
... I also thought of these 'pages ' here at Writers Cafe... and how important communities of this nature really are... thank you.

Once I’m gone there will be a lot for them to read and may give them a bit of a shock at times. I have three journals that finals go in. One for a friend in Arizona, one for my friend whose nickname is Dragon and one for all other poems. When I’m gone Arizona will get his journals, and Dragon will be sent his. And the rest my son can keep.

There is much love pour into my poems. So I wanted to give a hint at romance and tenderness
"Leaving pieces behind/ a puzzle that's rearranging." I like these last phrases. You do a good job of capturing writing inside of this piece. Although it's not always my favorite topic to read about, I believe your poem is very well written and captures the beauty of words very well. Thank you for sharing with me and requesting me to read it!!! I enjoyed it.
Whoa, this poem is amazing! I love the last line "A puzzle that’s rearranging", the whole poem though had me smiling as I read it. It has a cheerful vibe that I believe one would hope to find in something they read on this site or any, for that matter. Wonderfully explained and expressed, Poetic Beauty. Tyfs

My dear friend. Amazing flow of words and thoughts.
"These pages quietly float
With light feathery wings
Speaking soft poetic words
A passionate tale they sing"
The above lines. So smooth and so good. Poetry and story should smooth the heart and the soul. Thank you for sharing the outstanding poetry.

As of late my spirit has wanted more light feathery and magical poems filled with hints at romance
Are the pages described here literal, or are they symbolic of something else? My guess is that they stand for love itself, probably of the romantic variety. Or, if the last verse is a hint, perhaps the mind when it is illuminated by love. The mind is indeed a puzzle, ever rearranging.

Thai poem is both about literal pages and with the love entwined within them
“These pages glow brightly
Scattering silver light
Illuminating our minds
In darkness allowing light “
Precious handwritten pages, when found and cherished, chronicle the moments and memories of our lives. You have described this beautifully in word and picture. Thank you so much for recalling, and sharing yours with us here.
