The Pauses

Between the spoken lines, there are pauses
Listen carefully to the silence
For there is a whole world of conversation
Going on between those pauses

Read carefully to what is written
Immerse yourself within those words
There is a whole chapter
That has already been published

Look deeply at the pictures sent
Galaxies are created with brush strokes
The eyes will reveal the truth

On days without communication
Think intensely about the quiet
For she is having an internal debate
About how she feels about you

I don't know about those pauses
they could be the result of us watchin TV and turning off the sound when them commercials interrupt, but as far as she feels about me, well it's much too late for the old girl to debate about how that's all going, because at our age, we are both going to just have to ride this one out!

Oh my, this is another beautifully penned piece of your heart ... and I think I already know "how she feels about him ~ but, what to do about it is the real issue.

... so, yes please "Pause", take a deep breath and do what you know is the right thing. I've always been of the belief that "if it's meant to be - it will be".
