Morning light shines
Nestled behind the trees
Setting the leaves aflame

Sparkling with a pale orange glow
Slowly extinguishing the darkness
Awakening the world once again

Sleepy world coming to life
As people begin their day
Washing away the haze

Coffee starts to brew
Percolates with vigor
The smell stimulating the senses

A calm quiet morning
Filled with random thoughts
Of memories, some old some new
