Where archaic, I still believe

In a love boundless

By time and dimension

 

Living in a Godless world

The Bible a relic, I hold dear

Words of wisdom and divine

Still holds moral hue

Crosses a fashion statement, still precious to me

Hold an eternal promise

Of a love that will never leave

 

Living in a Godless world

A belief that is fading, I still have faith

Spiritual recognition deep within

A feathery touch of angel wings.

It has been hard lately.I'm an open minded person about spiritual choices of faith.I have had had to remove people from my Facebook because they have moved my belief over and over again. It's disheartening to me for I don't make fun of other people's choices in faith.

I guess as I grow older spirituality becomes more precious to me..And I too find it unbearable
to witness any lack of compassion towards another human being. Now is that humility or
humanity or just the beat-nik in me who rejects the mores of conventional society.
The human mind is conflicted for eternity. I love a good boxing match but will stop my
car to break up kids fighting. The knowledge of God enjoyed by the blessed in heaven,
their beatific vision, i'm not quite ready to find out.

Trying to sort out the things I love in the time and dimensions I have left on earth,
is enough to keep me busy for awhile........dana
