Living in a Godless world

Where archaic, I still believe

In a love boundless

By time and dimension

 

Living in a Godless world

The Bible a relic, I hold dear

Words of wisdom and divine

Still holds moral hue

 

Living in a Godless world

Crosses a fashion statement, still precious to me

Hold an eternal promise

Of a love that will never leave

 

Living in a Godless world

A belief that is fading, I still have faith

Spiritual recognition deep within

A feathery touch of angel wings.

Faith...I had a strong faith at one time. But God's let me down more times than I can count in this life. I guess He'd actually have to care about someone to help them. For me, it seems that ship has sailed. But good for you if you still have faith. I only hope when you realize just what your faith will cost you, it doesn't drive you to atheism.
