October LightsA Poem by Poetic Beauty
October lights have faded
The colors dwindled The season's beauty Has blossomed and died Drifting away Fire lights have diminished Upon the cold breeze Embers have become cold Ashes born to a season That has come to pass Winter's fingers claw Slashing upon the wind Bitter and biting The earth In its icy clutches Transforming the land Into a fridigid desert Icicles growing As blizzards encase The world in white © 2014 Poetic BeautyReviews
