Outside

We snuggle close

Side-by-side

Blankets soft

Upon the skin

Hold me closely

Till spring time 

Begins

Hot cocoa sipped

Gingerly

Your heated closeness

A lullaby

These quiet moments

Hold

The blustery winds

At bay

Your nearness

Cuddling close with someone warm is always nice. Once again, you perfectly captured the feeling of snuggling inside somewhere warm during the cold winter. Inside of hot cocoa, I drink hot tea. Its liquid warmth never ceases to heat my insides.

I like hot peppermint tea in the winter as well or hot apple cider. Small things can make a different in the cold winter months.
