dust off the old poems...reminds me of all of the poems on napkins that i find tucked in poetry books or my old poulin anthology...i look at them and think...geez i could do something with this...maybe i should mess with it...
we leave so many poems hanging in limbo..not quite finished...or ones we thought were awful and then see something salvageable ...
i relate here to this...maybe it's the Illinois connection..:)

I come back and finish them sometimes. Sometimes to get the juices flowing you simply have scribble thoughts down and like magic the words start to pour from the mind like a waterfall from the sky.

What a wordsmith you are PB. You give the reader such a metaphor, in brilliance, by saying, and especially to an all-round beautician, "to manicure your writing today" now that had nothing vain, or anything supperficial in it, but a depth, I rather admire. It's to shape the poetry like a diamond, to make it fit, to make it perfect to our eyes, and to other ones eyes.
You're funky my dear, I see it here now :) there is much "new yearn, instead of especially year" in this piece. I am always flabbergasted by your creativity, and use of words. They are simply gorgeous.
We must be one line aswell in practice as theory... you captured that here for me... from day to night.
There must be a certain balance.

~ it made me smile and feel good about writing. From time to time indeed we need to dust off the webs to fend off the nagative webs that creeps through our mind. In this piece I could see a fresh start, a new beggining for new craft... there are still so much to penned out there or within us... the innovative ideas or muses will keep on running. Very nice piece!

I am glad you liked the way I described getting out of a funk and writing.
First off I'm on here to post my writing to have an outlet for my emotions. You will find a variety of poems. If you like take a moment and stroll through this poets mind.
Secondly be kind to each .. more..
