Songs in Purple

Songs in Purple

A Poem by Poetic Beauty

Sing melodies to me

In hues of purples

So gloriously pleasant

Ringing like wind chimes

Subtle upon the wind

Whispering words of passion

Encompassing every fiber

With comfort divine

A song of solace

That reaches the core

Submerging droplets

Soothingly sublime

Molecular fusion

A Soul stitching love

That whistles softly

Of amethysts notes

Soaring across the ether

Enveloping with ardent lavender

So cleansing and mild

Glistening with violet dew

A potpourri of emotions

Fly through the night

Plum voracity

Starting vibes anew

Lavender, wind chimes and purple. We share those. Purple and all shades of it are favourites of mine. This is a beautiful poem filled with fragrance, scented and carried on air. So uplifting and softly musical.PB.

hi Beauty! :) i saw your avatar and moniker on one of your reviews for jacob and just had to stop and read a bit ... your title is pretty emotive by itself and the font color when the poem popped up is striking ... interesting rhyme scheme .. was looking for the first 3 Vs to continue the same but you surprise me .. all the way through i kept thinking hmm this should be songs in lavender .. not purple ... so the calming theme also surprised me ... then V 5 & 6 comes the lavender, violet and plum (especially like the plum) is there a reason V4 L4 doesn't rhyme with dew and anew? i think it might gain strangth if it did (just an opinion) i am an introvert and particularly believe science and the arts compliment one another nicely so ... i am drawn to your "Molecular fusion" and mention of the ether ... lovely feelings of bliss and calm uplifting love in this ... clever title and use of purples ... enjoyed reading .. and nice to meet you!

Sometimes my brain just likes to pick words that rhyme
It is funny how certain tones and hues speak to us in warm and gentle tones, while others give our eyes a headache.
Purple, violet, lavender all have more gentle voices than those blues and lilacs neighbours, further down the the spectrum
I also love the sound of wind chimes too, but not here... It's so windy all you end up with is tinnitus. I'm pretty sure they are considered an offensive weapon here. 😀
Yet your words speak of gentle winds, caressing you from skin to soul.
Dulux would sell way more paint if they put words like this on the tins, instead of all those daft names they come up with.

Wow, there is definite beauty in your words here and I absolutely fell in love with the title :) you start off strong, make your words sing to us, giving molecular fusion and taking us away, making us soar to someplace new. Your skills of imagery and flowing words together is wonderful. By the way, purple is my favorite color. I do love this piece and it really sang to my heart :)
