Filled within this mind

Is an eternity of pages

That tells old stories

And ones yet to unfold

Memories drift in

Then quietly recede

As images fade peacefully

Mountains of books

Whisper their words

Across active neurons 

Dancing with excitement

As characters

Come to life

Pages become embellished 

With wispy words

That brilliantly create 

Universes yet to be seen

The brain of a writer

Imagines tales of wonder

In vivid day dreams

Allowing readers an escape

From the trials of mundane life
