Emotional Shadows

I don't want to talk. its just one of those emotional days

Drifting through a sea

Of scattered thoughts

On endless turbulent tides

That immerge the soul

In a chaotic rush

Of pulsing agitation

 

A riptide of turmoil

Brewing underneath

The fragile skin

Submerging the heart

In conflict of pain

 

Depression sinking in

As the heart feels

Sorrowful  agony

Relentless in vigor

Twisting and pulling

Until the mind cries out

As the tears stream

Down the face

 

In the shadows

Where others can’t see

Blinded by the darkness

Hidden from human sight

A vibrant smile

Makes things seem

Everything is alright.

I think we all have days where we feel as if the whole world is going to mash every cell in our body and people sit and watch it happen.
