Silvery Moment

Beneath the violet sky

Where silver moonbeams

Touch the shaded ground

You lay silently dreaming

Off on an adventure

To those mystic shores

Where all things are possible

Your body silhouetted

In the silvery blue glow

Eyes relaxed and closed

Breathing steady and slow

And I think of how

I love you so

There is magic swirling

Underneath the stars

As ardent emotions

Begin to flow through

The velvety night

Entrancing the moment

With unconsummated ecstasy 

A moment of visual calm

Creating euphoric delight

This one sounded slightly contrived with a predictable flow....and what is wrong with that? Nothing at all, just that I have preferred many your other poems, personally, because they tend to really suprise my senses and stimulate memories and emotions...this is not to say I'm not impressed or dissapointed, just less engaged, that all, thanks.

A very mysterious, mystically colourful piece of imagery that quietly throbs with a sense of equilibrium throughout. The concision of pace and structure is particularly effective here I think, summoning up something slightly more equal to the sum of its parts..
