after all these years,
you still keep your head down in terror; the strength to speak up cannot be found. they tell you who you are, and still the question remains: are you going to believe them? or are you going to rise, and release who you are inside? if you do, there'll be a breakthrough. you'll find there's only one you, so go on, prove them wrong. show them you're not who they thought you were. show them you're stronger than you were before. © 2014 Alyssa Emmings (a.e.)Author's Note
