I like this, the feline being the protector of the house... instead of a dog, we usually think cats are more lazy than dogs, we usually vision them resting or sitting. We picture the dog running to the door to see who is there. But I like that if someone unwanted comes to the door, the feline can use their claws of doom to "punish" them. Good write!

Yet, they can be quite fierce as well. Dogs are almost always on alert at the gates and react quite quickly. Cats appear to contemplate before using their claws of doom.
