If given the choice, would you choose currency or currently in love?

May the Choice Be Yours

If given the slightest chance to choose between one million types of currency and the one of whom I could adore the most...

I would choose currency, one million times uttermost. 

The heart is a sensitive soul, only to be treasured dear. To allow another to hold it...would arise the greatest fear. It could be taken away across desolate fields, or broken so terribly, that its wounds never heal. 

     And yet...admiration is a treasure to emotion. No such currency could ever seek to replace this notion. Seek a place where love endures, and may the choice forever be yours.

Considering these days that love seems more fleeting than ever. Currency. But is it better to be loved once than not at all? I don't know, but I do like this poem and I like how you tied it up nicely in the last stanza. If there is enduring love, please sign me up. CD

I certainly appreciate your kind review. Love in all of its essence is truly fleeting nowadays. However, I believe at the very least loving one's self is the greatest treasure of all. Admiration for someone, even if it is only once, is a lovely feeling. Enduring love will always exists in the heart, and no person nor currency could ever relinquish the feeling.

Oh such beauty and eloquence! I enjoyed reading this poem you crafted. If you had the choice to choose between currency and currently in love what would you choose? I like that line in your poem alot because currency and currently sound so similiar its almost like a play on words. To be honest both is important. Love and money, but we can over do it such as loving too hard, or becoming money hungry or else it will cause alot of destruction. Everything in moderation. I enjoyed this poem alot!!
