Tinged (100 Word Essay)A Story by poetic-raven2012Tinged Promises are, in a sense, the only things that truly hold us together. They show our true colors, when we are lying, and when we have the purest intentions in the world. For the first time in a long, long time my pure blue truth has an angry streak of red that slashes through it, dissolving some of the rich color, soaking it up. The red deepens to a blood burgundy as the sweet cerulean blue tinges it darker and darker. My eyes that aren’t meant to see the hidden intently watch the colors viciously wind around my wrist, constricting. © 2010 poetic-raven2012Author's Note
