Still the Same

Still the Same

A Poem by poetic-raven2012

I am still the same
three-year-old that loved to draw
and the
five-year-old who loved to talk.
The
six-year-old that read like someone twice their age
and the
eight-year-old with a smile and a sunburn.
I am the same
ten-year old who knew all the oldies rock lyrics
and the twelve-year old who rode her bike more than she walked.
I'm still that
suppressed thirteen-year-old writer.
I'm the fourteen-year-old that just wants to be happy.
