Emulating October

Emulating October

A Poem by poetic-raven2012

February night,
Emulating October,
Cool winds on my face.

Standing barefoot on
The strangely smooth concrete walk,
Enjoying the night.

There's snow on the ground;
Tonight the night is perfect,
As if made for me.

The breeze is my soul
And the coolness on my arms
Is eternal peace.

Author's Note

It is sooooo beautiful outside right now in Baltimore. Seriously, I've been outside, and there's still ice all over the place but it's like 50 or 60 outside.
Oh, and I'm pretty sure that each stanza is a haiku.
(lol, I'm currently hiding in my closet, sitting on top of a big blue tote with my mom's friends laptop. I should probably go put it back...bye.)

I liked this! it's very calming, and appeals to sensations so much. It's very easy when reading your poem to see, almost feel the events you write about, even there isn't much in description, for me it's great as is, peacefull, keep up the good work
