Uncertain Dreams

Uncertain Dreams

A Poem by poetic-raven2012

The silken sad uncertainty englufing,
But no cutrains rustling.
Uncertainty spelled out in my future,
But no ouija board spelling,

Out my hopes, or out my dreams.
Small and filmy distant gleams,
Begging to in the clarity,
Writhing with a wordless passion.

Ideas and thoughts kept inside of me,
Small flitting thoughts let free,
Tempting little morsels escaping me,
And flying into the world.

Over time,  singled gleams,
Will cease to be dreams,
And will forever be entwined with me,
As an integral peice of my identity.

Author's Note

poetic-raven2012
This was written in the middle of Art class. (I just seem to get inspired while doing school work...) It's about dreams, but for me personally it's about attempting to figure out where I'm going to be out of high school.
You see, I go to a specialized Law and Public Policy high school, but I still love writing, so I'm torn.
I kind of want to go to UNLV. (University of Nevada: Las Vegas)

Very good. I understand how it feels to have no dreams. Right when you think you have none, you soon find another to take it's place! Good job here!
