Night In ParisA Poem by poetcheel
Lovely night, champagne, roses and perfume to accompany me--
Lonely in this old train, no waiters, no people to witness my high-end dress Bitter taste, distanced nature’s beauty Rapid movements on them Caught on guard In search for Paris wonders and a man, that buys expensive wine for me to savour
in his mid-class hotel Waiting for a stop, to encounter thou I shall treat thee nicely
in my mains, don’t worry
Walking through the trains hallways, Proceeding to go out-- jumping out like old movies Streets call my name people recognize my face and love my voice Both feet going faster till I find your face-- Desire for your touch, body and lips Just-- a small glimpse of thee Behind, pieces of brown hair
and a 360 degrees turn, to glance at your freckled face Closing the space between us, Eye to eye-- just to ask Will you buy me wine? He replied" “Yes, in this beautiful night in Paris” Poet: Chelsie Rivera (-2019)
