When I've moved on, and he won't let go.

This kiss feels forced like we’re just going through the motions,

Keeping our eyes blind and leaving words unspoken.

I can’t explain your tears away

But our “love” is so transparent, flimsy, filmy, nonexistent.

I can’t bear another minute of your begging forgiveness, letters and lists of redemption,

There’s no temptation in your arms.

We’re moving forward in two different time zones,

I’ve flown so far past all this,

But you’re moving in slow motion-

Alone and always hoping to mend this bond,

Signed, dissolved, irretrievably broken.
