Memories without a casueA Poem by Gin TsubasaA soured romance poem.Everything. Nothing. Never again. Long past days that have blurred together; The couch had rotted, but the soda stains remain. The present and the past form a lump in my throat; There is no stopping the future. The memories had finally stopped spinning When he blew by; I spoke to him through the breeze. His airy lungs held no reply. Time pressed on and like a whirlwind he burned away My memories. His destruction took 8 months but, Like a tornado, I can still taste his after effects. © 2008 Gin Tsubasa |
