Quiet Skies

 

 

 

He shares his shimmer,

with clandestine constellations;

 

silhouettes

in perfect symmetry,

he waltzes with shadow;

 

quiet skies

his hidden sanctuary

 

humming a lullaby

to soften his dreams,

memories tucked gently

beneath a tattered pillow

 

as smile sleeps

under Angel's palm

 

his shelter, at sunrise.

Hi, You don't know me. I'm pretty new in here. I like this piece. It made me go back and read a couple more of yours. I like them too. Unlike many...you can actually write. If you get the chance....check out something I've written. I play around with different poetry forms from centuries past sometimes.
