Along A Petaled Path~

 

 

Gazing into depths
unreachable
by human hands

watching ripples swirling
winds of change,

My body weakens
craving sprinkles of wetness
as Seasons sing sigh

from distant shores

sweet scent
kisses my desires
as fantasies unfold

while petals close,
hesitantly
I toss my hair
attempting
to relieve this compulsion;

to dive into shallow waters,
swimming
with possibilities.

My chorus echoes
within a dove's cry
carrying my voice

just over that mountaintop
splashing softly

upon the unsuspecting.

As I awaken
kneeling here surrounded
by my own Texas soil,
you will find me

somewhere in the shade
watching daisies float
under the bridge

dreams dancing silently
out of sight...

Once again.....you capture the essence of the title. The only little glitch is "kisses my desires" I might change that to kisses my desire. Maybe not though....you're such an amazing talent that I hate to bring it up. But I Love this piece like all the others from you that I've read.
