Pink Like Petal~

 

 

 

She is blush
at birth of morning-
pink sunrise
sparkling in his eyes

feminine wiles that dance
in pastel shades
just beyond your reach

delicate rose petals floating
upon a river of reflection.

She is the bashful bliss
~in between~
a gentle flutter of lashes
and the fire ignited
by whispering winds of innuendo

wings whirling, tresses twirling
within feathered fingers

this Angel painting-
changing hues
from carnation to crimson

strumming the chords
of her lover's heart.

You have done it again! Having just read your Rose poem I turned to this looking for more and, yes, I got more. This one is a little more active than the previous one with the extra little dash of passion. Tis a beautiful expression. A lover on the receiving end of this attention would have no option but to surrender in detail.
