For You, Alone

For You, Alone

A Poem by poet2angels (lynda)
"

Love

"

As constellations spill soft thoughts
in glitter upon longing lashes,

will you meet me in my dreams?

Come taste my passion,
if only through words , for now
and kiss these petals
that only your love can quench.

Dance these hips until the sway softly rests,

dry these tears that fall gently,
then feel the flutter
of my heart that aches

for you, and you alone.

This is an interesting piece in the comprehensive manner that it addresses love, yet does so in such a sublime manner so as not to draw attention to itself in that matter. There is the magic, the softness, the passion, the tears, and oh so much - so exquisitely portrayed for us in such splendid fashion. A well written display of love...

The imagery is so vivid. I also like your use of personification. "Come taste my passion." "...only your love can quench." Nice job. :D

What an eloquent expression of passionate love and desire; A lady poem, is what I'll call it, if you don't mind!! Excellent.

as always you display the thoughts that flow from your heart about what the experience of love should be like in such a way that the reader is drawn in by your soft tone and walks away with a sigh.

Beautifully done.

This is what dreams are made of.
