Though Far Away You May Be

Though Far Away You May Be

A Poem by PoemsbyPatrick

Though far away you may be,
Your sweet scent lingers here with me.
Though out of reach your body is,
My arms still hold you as I did.
Though lips I cannot touch from here,
The taste of love's soft kiss I hold so dear.
I cannot see you in the flesh,
But supple curves my memories bless.
Until my love you do return,
I hold fast to last passion's burn.
Your memory fills my every thought,
Your love complete shall be sought.
Do not linger in lands beyond,
When true love waits here to be found.

Ciao,

I agree with Quinn, absense makes the heart grow fonder. It makes the reunion so much more sweet! Great write!

Arrivederci!
