Gratitude - Three Blessings

Gratitude - Three Blessings

A Poem by PoemsbyPatrick
"

The practice of positive psychology and happiness research suggests observance every day of three blessings, the capturing of "what went well" that day.

"
Each and every day,
I promise to observe,
The practice of three blessings,
To capture in brief words.

One is for the hands,
A labor full of joy,
To set the world in flight,
With help from hands employed.

One is for the head,
My thoughts applied in full,
To lighten burdens of the world,
And lessen darkness' pull.

One is for the heart,
A warm and full embrace,
To fill the world with love,
And put joy unto your face.

Three blessings every day,
Three tasks of happiness,
Three deeds of simple joy,
To lead the heart to fullness.

I liked this one. Made me think of my day and what went well. Very good and true sentiments in this one.

I enjoyed the escape... I agree in the health of orating thinking. Still, some wounds need to be explored and scrapped clean to the bone and deeper to find healing. Balance in "all" things.
A fine poem.

A very worthwhile goal. We need the three blessings in a day. A wise person does their best to be kind and helpful. Thank you for the excellent poem.
