I am therefore I think

By thinking I become

My mind is constantly restless

With cycles of endless discovery

Thoughts within thoughts

Lead deeper into my soul

Blossoming outward

To a landscape of possibility

There is not time enough

To comprehend all that I perceive

Shadows of thought

Dancing across my restless mind

Constantly trying to bring order

To the wonderful chaos the exists

Within my mind

So starved for endless adventure

The adventure of thoughts anew

The journey of endless learning

The path into my soul

Which yearns for greater heights

Sleep is little necessary

But for the body's need

I am in thought the completion

Of the being that I am

So restless though my mind may be

That is it's fertile state

Contentment, sleep and reverie

Must find some time to wait

Join me in my thoughts

Share in my discovery

Walk with me on this path of chaos

And share with me your mind

Restless minds will find a way

To gather in their thoughts

Creating worlds undreamed

For the seeking of our souls

In this act we build anew

A world for the ages

Built from thought and word and deed

Of restless minds unleashed

i really connect with this, my mind never shuts up and i have a really hard time sleeping because ill a do is think of the next chapter in one of my books!

your thoughts dance about the page like a gently fluttering butterfly, and, like that butterfly...no one can tell exactly where it will alight next. that, i think, is what makes this piece so utterly charming, even though i get the sense of familiarity from the opening lines you still manage to direct me where the heart wants to go.
