Bobby, would you hate me,

If you knew what I have done?

Bobby, would you judge me,

Or would we still be friends?

If my actions were not pure?

Bobby, would you pray for me,

If I'm weak of flesh?

Bobby, would you understand,

Love's motivation in my life?

Bobby, would you know,

My happiness abounds?

Bobby, would you be my friend,

Accept me as I am?

A loving, weak, and happy soul,

Interesting poem. I often wonder about these same things.

Friendship is not about being perfect, but loving, I am sure that Bobby would still accept you even if he disagreed. But there always is that question... are we friends because of an assumed shared view point?

Bobby's just a friend that might not understand all that I do and all that I am. In the end we live our life as we see fit, and true friends will still be friends.

This poem reminds me of whats it's like to have an imaginary friend in those awkward, painful younger years when you believe no one could possibly understand you. Really like the idea, the thought behind it.
