When I Was Small

 

When I was small, I did not talk.  But I did cry!  I was loud!

My mom fed me and held me.  She sang to me.

And I went to sleep.

 

When I was small, I did not walk.  But I did crawl!  I was fast!

My dad ran after me.  He picked me up and gave me a big hug. 

And I felt happy.

 

 

When I was small, I did not play games.  But I did have toys!  I was busy all day long!

I had a big red ball.  I had a blue bunny.  I had a green frog.

And I had fun.

 

 

When I was small, I could not do many things at all.  But my mom and dad took care of me.

They fed me.  They changed me.  They played with me.   

And I was loved.
