       CHAPTER ONE

     HOME IN HEAVEN

 

“Isabel you’re late, the meeting is about to start.” “I know I just lost track of time.” “Now that all of us are here, we can get on with the meeting,” Begin the head Angel. “Now we need one Angel to go down to Earth, to keep an eye on a girl named Rebecca, any questions?” Asked the head Angel. “Annabel what is your question?” She asked. “Yes Maryann,” Began Annabel. “Why does one of us need to keep an eye on her?” she asked. “That’s a very good question Annabel,” Began Maryann. “The reason is her mother always prayed that our Lord would send one of us to go and keep an eye on her.” “What’s the matter with her anyway?” asked Rachel. “She’s in a gang and her mother is scared for her life.” “So who’s going to go to Earth for that?” asked another Angel. “That’s another good question,” Began Maryann again. “I’ve already thought of that, and I chose someone who never been to Earth not since she came to us almost two years ago, and that Angel well be Isabel.” “Me!?” she asked in shock. “Yes believe it or not it’s your turn to go down to Earth, but Isabel the catch is that after your mission Rebecca want be able to see you anymore.” “Ok when do I leave?” Isabel asked with a sigh. “As soon as you’re ready come see me, and I’ll show you were to go,” an hour later. “Maryann I guess I’m ready to go to Earth.” “Ok just come with me Isabel.” “Wow where is this place?” “This is St. Petersburg Russia, look Isabel that’s Rebecca, she’s the one who needs your help, now you’ll stay down there as long as you’re needed.” “As you wish Maryann.” “By the way Isabel,” began Maryann as Isabel was flying away. “I’ll be keeping an eye on you.” “Maryann I can’t do it,” began Isabel. “Yes you can Isabel, What I heard about Rebecca is, she doesn’t belong in that gong she also very nice. She isn’t anything like the people she hangs around with, now she’s the only one who will be able to see your wings. So to everyone else, you’ll pass as a normal human,” began Maryann. “Isabel try up those tears.” “I’m sorry Maryann but-I-can’t-help-it,” she said crying. “Isabel you’re an Angel, and we Angels do not cry, you can do it, you know why?” “No why?” asked Isabel. “Because we Angels can do anything, we put our minds to. Now lesson to me Isabel, when you’re down there you can’t contact me, but I can and well contact you, now you take good care of your self Isabel.” “You too Maryann,” they told each other giving one another a hug.

 

    CHAPTER TWO

                                 GOING DOWN TO EARTH

 

 

“It most be five or maybe eight,” she told herself. “Do you know where the train station is?” asked an orphan. “I’m sorry but I’m not from here, I wish I could help,” said Isabel. “That’s ok Miss thanks anyway,” said the Orphan walking away. “Boy a really wish I could help that poor little girl,” thought Isabel. “Yaw but she’s not Rebecca,” came a voice. “What who said that?” “Down here look at your bracelet.” “Oh hi Maryann.” “How are you doing down there Isabel?” “Maryann I changed my mind, I want to go back up to Heaven, I don’t want to stay down here anymore,” “Isabel dear, your mission has only begun, I’ll let you know when it’s time to come home, now are you crying again? Isabel what did I tell you, before you lift from here?” “I’m sorry you’re right Maryann,” said Isabel rubbing her eye with her hand. “Isabel look over there,” started Maryann. “That’s Rebecca, she’s the one who needs your help. Go over and introduce yourself to her, I’ll get back to you an in hour.” “Hi I’m Isabel, and you are ?” “Oh I’m sorry, I’m Rebecca. So where are you from Isabel?” “Well I’m from up north, and you?” “I’m from here.” “Oh so you’re from Russia?” “Yaw,” Rebecca began. “Can I ask you a question?” “Yaw go right ahead, ask me anything.” “Ok, then what’s up with those wings?” “You’ll never believe me.” “Oh yaw?” “Yaw.” “Try me.” “Ok,” Isabel began. “Well,” Isabel said with a gasp, remembering what Maryann told her. “I’m an Angel, not just any Angel, your garden Angel.” “Oh yaw right.” “I told you, you would never believe me,” Isabel told her with a smile. “If you’re an Angel, can you teach me to be one?” “Only if you teach me to be human.” “You got yourself a dill,” said Rebecca shaking Isabel’s hand. “Now what do we do first?” “Talk to your mother.” “Who me?” “Yes you?” “Why in the Hell should I?” “Because your mother prayed to our Lord, that he would send one of his Angels, so she sent me.” “She? What do you mean she?” “Her name’s Maryann, she’s the head Angel, she’s the one who sent me.” “So are you ready to go talk to your mother?” “Yaw. But Isabel it’s almost 11:30 pm, so can we go see her tomorrow afternoon?” “”I didn’t know what time it was. So yaw, we’ll go see her tomorrow, goodnight Rebecca.” “Goodnight Isabel, oh and Isabel.” “Yaw?” “Welcome to Earth,” said Rebecca with a smile, as she was falling asleep, all of a sudden. “Isabel are you there?” “I’m here Maryann.” “Can I speak to you for a minute please?” “Yaw just a minute,” ten minutes later. “Now what did you want to speak to me about?” Asked Isabel walking outside the house. “How’s it going down there?” “It’s going better then I thought, it would, we’re going to speak to her mother tomorrow afternoon.” “We’ll that sounds grate well done, I’m proud of you. That’s all I wanted to check on, I’ll talk to you some more tomorrow, goodnight Isabel.” “Goodnight Maryann.”
