Rage is fired up passion let out of a cage. Passion is dormant, it is passive. Once ignited it magnifies, transforming into rage. It is the burning bush inside of you -everlasting. It is fed wood and gasoline to explode in a boisterous roar. Rage takes control. An angry powerful passion that takes the reins on logical thought process. It grants strength where strength is not granted, it is the mutation of a wild beast dwelling inside the body. Rage is attached to the soul - not always active, but activated necessarily. Can it be stopped? Good luck to the one who steps to the being of rage. There are animals within us - some ferocious tigers, others timid deer.
Interesting concept, and interesting poem. The form is a bit confusing, maybe break it down into more lines. The transformation from passion into rage you've outlined well and I can visualize it, so good job. The metaphors are all well-picked I think, and going back over it I am noticing more and more clever layers in each line. :)
The use of alliteration and assonance, not quite sure if it adds to the poem, but it does create a rhythm, and rhythm is important.
The basic there here seems to be that each of us has the passion inside us, and it takes but a spark to create the rage that all of us manifest at some point. Cool, although I think perhaps passion can be powerful without turning to rage. Good work on this poem! :)
