Springtime

Springtime

A Poem by Tim

Sun warming
Snow melting
Temps rising
Coats shedding

Bats swinging
Balls throwing
Kids running
Children laughing

Nymphs hatching
Trout rising
Lines casting
Creels filling

Birds singing
Butterflies fluttering
Frogs croaking
Tadpoles swimming

Flowers blooming
Shrubs flowering
Trees leafing
Sap running

Bees pollinating
Mosquitoes buzzing
Fleas biting
Dogs scratching

Turkeys strutting
Fawns nuzzling
Rabbits hopping
Kits wrestling

Cows calving
Ewes lambing
Chicks hatching
Piglets squealing

Manure spreading
Tractors plowing
Farmers planting
Seeds sprouting

Girls smiling
Boys blushing
Hands holding
Kisses landing

Spring’s here
Summer’s near
